Dave started playing sax in school, and then put music away for some time. He came back to playing music after falling hard for the blues. Traditional bluesmen like Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, and Elmore James spoke to him, and a real passion took root . He started travelling to blues festivals and listening to the great players that are part of the contemporary blues scene.

In 2017, he introduced players that later became “Bob’s Garage”, a band that played mostly blues and some classic rock. In 2019, he started hosting jams with local musicians. From these jams, The Blues Faithful was born. Having the good fortune to study under some great sax players, Dave sees music as journey, and just enjoys the ride, especially with The Blues Faithful.
