ALEX WARMER
bass
Meet Alex Warmer, a bass aficionado with a musical journey that spans over 30 years—longer than some of his audience members have been alive! This San Francisco native has plucked, thumped, and occasionally dropped the bass in a myriad of bands, proving that versatility is key (and sometimes a little chaos is fun).
Alex first made waves (or perhaps a gentle ripple) in the country music scene with the Kountrty Kays. They took the stage at the Folsom Street Fair, where the crowd was more than a little amused by their blend of honky-tonk tunes and cheeky charisma. They even graced the local Fox morning show, likely causing some early risers to question their coffee choices. From the upscale venues of the Bay Area to the misty landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, Alex and the Kays struck a chord.
Next up was the Giblet Dribblers, a thrash country, rockabilly band that left an indelible mark on the niche market of like-minded musical misfits.
With a name like that, you can only imagine the shenanigans that ensued, and let’s just say, the crowd was never quite sure what they were in for—other than a whole lot of fun.
Fast forward to the present, and Alex has found his groove with the Blues Faithful. For over two years, he’s been channeling his inner bluesman, filling rooms with the sweet sounds of classic standards. Growing up with the blues in his ears, he relishes every moment on stage, likely grinning from ear to ear while his bass does most of the talking.
So, whether he’s thumping out a country riff or getting down with some bluesy grooves, Alex Warmer is proof that age is just a number, and the rhythm of life is meant to be danced to—preferably with a bass in hand and a smile on his face!
